I`m keeping my expectations nice and low. I see no reason to get overexcited, but I`m looking forward to it.

You`re entitled to your opinion, but I could not disagree more. I think the PS3 is smoking the 360 in games this year, just like last year. I`ve been playing Heavy Rain, Yakuza 3, Modnation Racers, God of War 3 and 3D dot game heroes, with a little MAG on the side. That`s certainly quite a bit more variety than what the 360 offers this year.
Compared to Mass Effect 2(shooter RPG), Alan Wake(Shooter), Crackdown 2, (shooter), Metro 2033(Shooter), I would say there is not much on the 36...
The 360 fanboys are really basking in this sales boost. Personally, I don`t see the big deal. I mean, where were all of these articles when the PS3 was outselling the 360 year by year? Where were these articles when the Wii was tearing everybody a new one? Anybody? That`s right, they were few and far between. So why all of a sudden is there a surge of these articles when the 360 gets a boost?

Man, where was all the hype when the PS3 outsold the 360 worldwide month after month after month after month after month? The 360 gets a boost from the slim, and the sirens roar and everybody goes into frenzy.
The gap went from 8 to 5 to 3.6 in less than a year, and you are going to sit here and tell us that Japan is insignificant? How dumb do you think we are?
Also, what comeback? When has the PS3 ever been ahead? There are only two steps: Catch up, then take the lead. You do realize the PS3 will eventually pull ahead of the 360, despite a year headstart, right? I hope you realize it`s inevitable.
Who is dreaming? Last I checked, the gap has closed from roughly 8 million to roughly 4 million in less than a year, and that`s being generous. Do you honestly think a temporary boost from a re-design is going to somehow widen a gap moving at that speed? How naive can people possibly be?
Yeah, they usually just emerge on NPD day. They really don`t have a whole lot to brag about except U.S. sales and Halo.
Of course I remember those days, I lived in those days. Back then, when you played with friends, it was together on the same sofa. I like online multiplayer a lot, but I`m not completely dependent upon it like many people today. I`m more than happy with playing a good single player game all by myself, in fact, I prefer it that way, it`s how I played all my life. Kids nowadays can`t play unless they are talking to 7 other people who are not even playing the same game. Freaking lame, man.
Every game has people that try to bring it down, doesn`t matter what it is. It just so happens that the haters are going to come out in full force against GT5, it`s one of the PS3`s biggest games, in one of the PS3`s most crucial times. I can`t wait to see stupid fanboys like Kotaku, cry, whine, moan and stomp their little feet because their biased and retarded opinion is going to get far outweighed by everybody else who will praise the game endlessly. BRING THE TEARS.
I wouldn`t know, as I don`t have a slim. I can say however that the original 360s got very, very, very hot, especially back by the fan. It`s been said before, and I know it`s extremely fanboyish, and everybody is going to cry and stomp their feet when I say this, but, the 360 doubles as a space heater, seriously. It made my room very comfortable on cold nights.
Yep, there was a whole lot of talk coming from a certain group of people earlier on, yet the outcome is priceless: Virtually identical.

What would Kinect possibly add to a serious game like Fable? You can`t really flail your limbs around because you have a controller in your hand. I guess you could always shout commands at it:
"Absorb orbs!"
"Dog, attack enemies!"
"Open chest!"
"Fart"
"Fart Loudly"
Meh. Clearly Kinect is never going to work with actual hardcore games, I mean, just take a look at the launch lineup...ouch.

Wipeout HD is simply the fastest game I`ve ever played. Phantom class without pilot assist, and they`ll be dropping like flies.
Either MGS4 or Uncharted 2. They both completely eclipse anything else in consideration by a mile. Next up: The Last Guardian.
